Gene Dorn Heads Fairfax Surveys
Professional Land Surveyor Gene Dorn was hired to lead the Fairfax Surveys Division. Gene brings over 35 years of surveying experience to CPJ. Gene is a Licensed Land Surveyor in Virginia and New York, and is Property Line Surveyor in Maryland. As a Project Manager for Engineering Services for Storm Water Infrastructure and General Land Surveying, Gene was the point of contact for all field and office survey operations for a Task Order Project to provide a variety of surveying and engineering services throughout Loudoun County, Virginia. Tasks included Stormwater Infrastructure Surveying using GPS and GIS software, Boundary Surveys and Plats, Easement Plats, Topographic and Bathymetric Surveys, Engineering Plan and Profiles, Construction Stakeout and Survey As-builts. During his tenure at CPJ, Gene has overseen Howardsville Wastewater Treatment Facility easement plat; Bathymetric Survey at WB50099; Loudoun County Animal Shelter boundary survey and fence stakeout; Franklin Park ditch topographic survey and Potomac Sportsplex Playground topography.
